Siddhivinayak Temple Timings Mumbai

One of Mumbai’s most famous Hindu shrines, the Siddhivinayak Temple is the place of worship of the deity of Ganesha. Originally built in 1801, the current building complex is the result of renovations that were completed in 1993. While this temple derives most of its popularity from the large amount of gold that covers the throne of the idol, there are several other facets of this building that attract visitors.

Siddhivinayak Temple is one of the richest temples in Mumbai and is often frequented by renowned Bollywood actors and politicians. Located in the Prabhadevi district of Mumbai, the Siddhivinayak Temple dates back to the 18th century and was once a small construction highlighting the black idol of Shree Siddhivinayak, carved in stone.

Today, the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai is a unique six-story building with a golden dome on top. Nevertheless, the black idol of Shree Siddhivinayak has an unusual characteristic, the trunk turns to the right which is not often found on the idols of Ganesh.
